DOMESTIC MAQUILLAGE

The past weeks we've been finishing off the renovation we started in the countryhouse last autumn, working a lot every night after work and all the other things that one has to do all the time. During the kitchen-hall-and bathroom renovation the rest of the rooms pretty much served as furniture and kitchen appliance-storage and work space for painting and sawing jobs etc. Time (and funds) we're not enough to properly renew the surfaces in those for now but you do get a very long way with mainly a little  paint (or well, quite a lot of paint actually)! We've been going on quite intesly to the set up dead line which is tomorrow; Dag's birthday party.

 Here's one of the few before's that I managed to take.

And some of the almost-after ones. We'll get back to this later on!

RASPBERRY, MELON AND PEAR SORBET

I have a sorbet colored summer dress that I got when it was still snow on the ground, and that I had been waiting to wear with these exact shoes and this bag for a long time already. Sometimes you get these combos in your head you just want to try out but can't right away.

 I made a coral flush for my nails to go along.

And put on some very coral lipstick.

The dress is Ivana Helsinki and the lipstick and milk blur eyeliner from Lime Crime.

AFTERNOON

My mother came by to watch Dag while Eddi and I painted and organized in the house.
We had us a little break with some late afternoon tea on the sunny porch.

(Dag grabs all the cookies, puts them back so he can grab them again, tastes them a little bit and offers us them saying TAK TAK. Which means tack tack which translates thank you x2)
